All students came by bike or bus at the gymnasium. This morning at nine. We played games! There were four workshops : bubbleball, hockey, boxing and mimes. It was fun but tiring. For us, what we liked best was bubbleball because there were a lot of sensations and it was soooo funny!

First of all we had to climb our bicycle to go to the gymnasium for several activities: bubble football,hockey,boxing and some mental and body expression games.
After that the Dutch teacher gave us the team
results and we left.
While going we stopped at LIDL to buy some "fricandelles "and many more other things for lunch break.
We then went to a place to do HIP-HOP and a theatre workshop ....always with our bicycle ��!
In the theatre group we did some acting exercises and tried to minggle with others in ordre to be ready to present a little drama to the others so we tried to find some ideas.
Later on the evening we went to the Dominicus to have dinner �� with parents ,brothers and sisters, and teachers...

This afternoon, we went to the cultural center Aldenhof with our bikes. We had a very short lunch break and after we did a game together....climbing on chairs to avoid a shark attack!
Then there was a group for theater and another for hip hop. During the hip hop lessons, we imagined and created a choregraphy. In the end, we performed our dance in front of others. We had a good time !

In the morning ,
We started with the DOMunder in Utrecht.
We saw plans of Van Giffen from 1949 and
we observed different types of stones they used to build the cathedral which dates from the Romans.
The cathedral suffered a storm which destroyed parts of it . Only the heart of the cathedral and the tower remained.
Then , we went  underground to watch a movie and we took laser torches to find a little sensors on the dark to hear information .
We loved this activity because it was interesting and it was funny to find sensors !

On Friday morning we visited  the Utrecht Domtower; we went up to more than 112 meters to hear the bells, to reach the top of the cathedral we had to climb about 465 steps !

We liked the view ans scenery at the top of the tower and the architecture of the tower

In the Centraal Museum in Utrecht

With our guide we first observed a 17th century painting where a man was dying, covered by  blood , with 5 arrows in his body. And we learn how to read a painting.
Then we saw a reconstitution of  Dick Bruna's studio the creator of Muffy,  a little rabbit  the Japanese plagiarized to create the character of Hello Kitty !
After we drew a painting representing a tower from memory.
And finally we saw the surrealism section of the museum, as in the style of Salvator Dali .

This museum is very big. A lot of paint and tools. I think is a very good museum

Monday Morning 

We attended a Dutch class. We spoke about Jacques Brel. We listened to many songs in French,Dutch and English.After 5min pupils read a book on their IPad. Then the class had a little 20 mn  break. Later we went to a French class,we self introduced to the class and helped students for a text.
After we did a creative activity: we drew Dutch symbols on bags. At 12.10 we had lunch break for half hour.
We discovered a Dutch school and we love it and prefer it!

On Monday,  February 4th we went to the ice rink in Nimegue all together ; it is a large ice rink composed of 3 tracks including a ring of the size of the building. We spent a very nice last afternoon in the Netherlands.Everyone had a good time and enjoyed it. At the end, there was the award ceremony for the sport challenge and the Utrecht statue hunt.Each team member won a big candy box!
