Après un long voyage et de gros embouteillages, tout le monde est bien arrivé hier en fin de journée!

On wednesday we left at 9am ;we stopped 3times for our picnic and for the driver.We arrived at 6:40pm because of traffic jams and the weather.
We were nervous and a little worried but everything went perfetly well with our correspodants and dutch familles.
Today in the morning we made our own cheese in a farm .It was quite long,some thought it was disgusting,but it was a great experience and we will bring them back to our families�� .

Yesterday afternoon, we went to a gym center; Fitness and boxing in the program. It was very cool but very hard for us ! But we had a good laugh with the coaches!

On Friday we went to Utrecht by bus.In the morning,we first visited the town and  little secret places with a guide.We saw a cloister and  we followed the border line of the old Roman fortress.After this we talked about the canals.Then,we visited the Dom under and the catacombs ;we discovered the ruins of the cathedral which was  partly destroyed in the 17th century during a terrible storm.

On Friday afternoon we visited  the Fine art museum of Utrecht and we were divided in 3 groups.Our group listened to a guide who explained us the works of Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (he was born in 1888 and he died in1964); he was a famous chair designer  and an archtect. At the end of the visit ,we tried his chairs and we looked at works of comtemporary artits,who reinterprated Rietveld style

This morning,we started at 8h30 am and we did an activity all together:we painted clogs. Our penpals had a second clog and we will link them to make a pair.

Today at school we listened to the projects of our correspondants who spoke about different aspects of their country such as the nijmegen summer party ,several touristic places, cheeses,windmills and the Delta Works.
In the afternoon we did beachvolley and beachsoccer competions at the Beachfabrik. It was fun....but tiring?!
